A Call for Help: William Peck, Lincoln Impersonator

Noted historical impressionist William Peck is in need of your support. For 33 years, Mr. Peck has dedicated himself to bringing to life our 16th President and his time in history. In 2014, he was forced to an early retirement from this  work by the onset of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease). The disease has exhausted his family, financially and otherwise.

Mr. Peck’s friends and family are asking for your help. This is from Debra, William Peck’s wife:

bill peckI am sending out information to a link for Bill Peck. [ed note—the link goes to Mr. Peck’s Go Fund Me page.]

I am asking if you would please consider sharing it with those who know Bill, Our Abraham Lincoln Presenter.

Over the last couple of years dealing with this disease and the special needs for him has wiped us out financially. I have not been able to work to help support us. William needs around the clock care, and I am his primary care giver 24/7. I believe William deserves to have the best care at home.

That is why I am sending out this plea for help from our family, friends, Lincoln Presenters, fellow reenactors and to others that know William and would like to contribute any amount to his care while he is still able to appreciate and know that you have been there for him in his darkest hour.

I understand many people do not like the social media pages and don’t feel comfortable making contributions through these sites or on line.

If anyone would rather contribute personally a check or money order directly to us, our address is…

William  or  Debra Peck
197 Woodland Pkwy., Ste. 104 PMB#374
San Marcos, Ca. 92069-3020

Please keep us in your prayers. I know it would be a tremendous blessing to William if you are only able to send a card with well wishes.  I know he would greatly treasure them.
